Earth By Train has been a touring band for the better part of three years, slowly building their fan base on the East Coast. Having played listening rooms, venues, clubs, and festivals; with their blend of many musical styles, Earth By Train is well suited for any venue.
Earth By Train is a band. Our influences include, but are not limited to, making good music with each other, believing in the power of music and what It can do for our hearts and our world. We use drums, guitars, our hands, our voice, our heads and our hearts to create sound that hopefully is appealing and helps in some way. Each of us has had a past in solo writing and performing but decided, as a whole, we might make a better movement. We became a band. We are friends, we believe in each other, we support ideas and creative gestures. Earth By Train is a band. Having spent years on the road with such acts as The Record Company, The Whigs, Soulhat, Everything, Alexi Murdoch, Daniel Cage, Rusted Root, Tim Easton, Delta Saints, Big Head Todd and The Monsters,Col. Bruce Hampton, Kevin Kinney, Filligar, and Patrick Sweany; Earth By Train is seasoned and ready for the stage.
On the strength their first single "Roll" debuting in the January/February 2014 issue of Relix and having played many shows and festivals, including Bristol Rhythm and Roots and Pink Moon, since then; Earth By Train just released their second single "Problems I Borrow" and is gaining steam on regional radio. Earth By Train will release their long awaited debut, "After The Sound", in early Spring.
