Some French Folk Punk Steampunk Cabaret you say!? Yes! Frenchy and the Punk are on the trail again!

The energetic world touring duo based in New York, named one of the top 25 duos by Yahoo Music blog will be touring the US from Oct 26 to Nov 30. Their tour kicks off at Seattle's SteamCon with Abney Park and Professor Elemental and goes through the midwest and ends trekking up and down the east coast with their final show at the Gilded Festival with Voltaire. Frenchy and the Punks' sets will span their entire musical catalog of roaring cabaret folk punk tunes, french ballads, melodic world guitar jams and pounding tribal drum instrumentals!

Imagine Django Reinhardt, the White Stripes, Johnny Ramone, Siouxsie Sioux and Edith Piaf jamming together at an event hosted by Deepak Chopra and Toulouse Lautrec. This is what it might sound like. A sultry French-born singer, percussionist and a fiery punk rock guitarist from the golden days of the hardcore scene formed Frenchy and the Punk in 2005. Their show is a carnival of two that will take you from Paris to CBGBs and back again. A rollicking flapper folkpunk cabaret with cleverly crafted songs, Taiko meets Rio de Janeiro pounding drum instrumentals, Steampunk flavor and true DIY spirit.
