Charleston, W.Va. – November 13, 2013 – No matter where you are, there will be a way for music lovers to enjoy the 30th anniversary performance of Mountain Stage® in real time: be a part of the audience in Charleston, listen to a live broadcast on West Virginia Public Radio, or view the first-ever live web stream.

This celebratory performance will be Sunday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Culture Center Theater in Charleston. Scheduled guests include Todd Snider, Lucy Wainwright Roche, Diego Garcia and, Mollie O'Brien and Rich Moore with special appearances by Deni Bonet and West Virginia Poet Laureate Marc Harshman. "Our 30th anniversary show will be special but it will also be the usual mix of talent that Mountain Stage always presents: old friends, new guests and different styles of music from both young and experienced artists,” said Larry Groce, host, artistic director and one of the show’s founders. “We'll have visits from past Mountain Stage regulars, a reading by West Virginia's Poet Laureate and brief on-stage interviews with folks who were instrumental in making the show what it is today. We're also very excited that you will be able to hear the whole thing live on radio and audio stream, and see it on a video stream as it happens. Whether in person, on radio or online, we hope you'll join the party!"

Mountain Stage® is heard weekly on West Virginia Public Radio Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. The program airs on 139 stations nationwide through NPR and around the globe on Voice of America.
